Board of S.G.E.M.V. ASBL

The General Circle of Students in Veterinary Medicine was founded in 1894. The name Société Générale des Etudiants en Médecine Vétérinaire (S.G.E.M.V.), currently used, dates from 1902.

In 1975, under the direction of Pascal Leroy, the S.G.E.M.V. was granted the status of a non-profit association. Its Board of Directors is composed of 8 volunteer veterinary students, whose main role is the student representation within the various instances of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and the University of Liège. The S.G.E.M.V. is also in charge of the organization of the show.
